Trying to get the below to look at column E on sheet1, to check the cell is "Monday" and if so to count the value in sheet1 column L, summarizing the total on sheet2 column D.

Any help appreciated, many thanks

Mark...

=IF('Sheet1'!E:E,"Monday",Sheet2!D:D,'Sheet1'!L:L)

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
What does "count the value in sheet1 column L, summarizing the total on sheet2 column D." mean?

Have you tried =COUNTIF?

Well we were both thinking on the same lines.
Ive managed to make this work for the above....

=SUMIF('Exported Data'!E:E,"Monday",'Exported Data'!N:N)

But to complicate it one more stage, I now need to add N:N*Q:Q as as last calculation , any suggestions?
