Hi

I have been given the task to set up a work rota.
Basically there can be between 13 - 15 working the rota on a 6monthly basis

And there are differnt shift patterns

1 - 9am to 5pm
2 - 9am to 9:30pm
3 - 9pm to 9am (nights)

people working nights will work monday - thursday or Friday to Sunday
At weekends people will work friday saturday and sunday 9am to 9:30pm

After a set of night shifts the worker gets a day off e.g Mon - thurs (friday off)
Fri - Sun (monday off)
Also if a worker works a weekend they get the monday off.

1 person needs to do nights at any one point
1 person needs to do 9am - 9:30pm days at any one point otherwise
1 person to work the weekend days at any one point

Is there any way of doing this on excel easily or am i in over my head......?
