what is autofilter field

What does autofilter field relate to in vba. I am trying to filter multiple columns of data and im not sure when it is a different field and when it is a different criteria. Can anyone help me understand what they both do/change?

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots

Sort by date Sort by votes
In the built-in vba Help, do a search for 'Autofilter' then look at the 'Range.AutoFilter Method' option.
