Hoping some kind person can help. I have worksheets with merge cells. Under certain scenarios these cells may need to be split. As other people will be using my spreadsheet I trying to make it fool proof. Is there a way if a column width falls below 2.15 it will align cell vertically and shrink to fit. At present the cells are 4.28 while merged.

I already have a macro to un-merge the active cell (just in case a user couldnt work it out, so created button). Maybe some code could be added to this to vertically align and shrink to fit the cells thats been split?

Thanks in advance

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
