=COUNTIFS(Nov!C:C,TODAY(),Nov!K:K,"<>")/$C$21

This was working for short time even with volatile error. Now now no answer Why?

Is there another way to test Today() in the formula?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Hi Zrx,

An easy fix for this is to put the =today() formula into a cell somewhere else possibly in a new sheet where it won't bother you and just look into that cell rather then Today()

so if i put =today() into cell A2

Code:
[COLOR=#333333]=COUNTIFS(Nov!C:C,A2,Nov!K:K,"<>")/$C$21

Hope this helps,

Nothing is wrong with the formula: It tests whether C = TODAY() while K is not empty. What is the issue?

Personally i would avoid using today() in any statement other then itself alone. It has a knack for stuffing up.

Issue being it gives the wrong answer, as c has 26 enters and k say 10 /number =percentage, in a cell formatted as percentage.

Did work for a moment, that is the funny part?

Could you post the relevant data (which does not seem too much) here along with result you want too see

Ok, here is what I found. Used a different cell for formula and it worked. Went back a deleted formulas in cells used originally and retyped in Worked fine?? BUT, is it safe to say the today() volatile will rear its head again I'm thinking?

As far as data, straight forward like you said. Col c all dates formatted as such, column K time h:mm if value is there. May have k and j mixed up but overall same.

Is it possible that you post the data I asked for?
