Excluding Blank Cells From Formula

Not exactly sure if I am phrasing this correctly. I'm using a simple A-B formula to subtract my overtime from my regular time. When data is entered into the cells, the "sum" cell is showing the correct time, however if no data is entered (because of no overtime for that day) the overtime cell with no data is still subtracting my regular time cell giving me ##### in the "sum" cell. As you can see from the pic, Saturday and Sunday are correct, but Tuesday I get an error. So I want the formula to only subtract when data is present and do nothing when no data is present. As of now, my formula in cell C5 is B5-B4. Thank you in advance for the help

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
That worked! Thanks!
There is however another issue. I want to have a cell that keeps a running total of those extra minutes. Could you please explain how to incorporate the two formulas together? For example, my formula is currently =SUM(C5+E5+G5+I5). I need that SUM cell to exclude the blank cells as well.
