Hi - I have designed a monitoring spreadsheet in which I require the team to add numeric values in 1 column - which is then added up at the bottom

Unfortunately some of the team put comments in with their figure and thus it does get included

Is there a formula that I can insert so that you can only enter figures into the column of cells.

Thanks

Thanks Andrew - but this takes Whole Numbers - How Can I Insert decimals in the same column. For example some returns will be 5, 100 , 34 and some will be 0.25, 0.1 or 0.75

Thanks - I can see that you can enter decimals, which will also take in whole numbers - I thought it was one or the other
