Dear all,

I have the following problem: after changing from scatter xy chart to area chart, x axis (has number values from 0 to 1000) became logarithmic (or at least not proportional) and there is no way to change its type. Is there any way to make it not logarithmic, but usual one? Thanks in advance!

Hi Maria
Welcome to the board

Not sure I understand.

The Area chart may have 2 types of axis values, Categories (Text) or Dates.

The Scatter chart has another type of X axis: values.

So, remember that these 2 types of charts have different X-axis types.

Maybe if you explain your problem we can help with a solution or a workaround.

P. S. About the "became logarithmic (or at least not proportional)".
If your area chart has a category x-axis, your values will be read as labels, just a string of characters.
This means that if you have {1,3,500} these are read as text values and will be equally spaced in the axis, as would any other group of values.

Hello! Thank you for the answer!

Now I understand the problem. What if I need XY scatter chart, but I need to paint the area under the line to make it look like an area chart?

Thanks in advance!
