For our Learning management system, we would try to use a language date and time independent format. Our actual suggestion would be something like "22.03.2014 19:15".
However we are not sure if this works in US-Excel. I do not own a US Excel-Application.
Maybe someone can confirm if it is possible in Excel to:
a) add "22.03.2014 19:15" in the cell (dd.mm.yyyy hh:mm)
b) Edit the time and/or date format of this cell
EG: Is it possible to generate american months, day and year formats like:
"mm/dd/yy"
see PHP: Date Formats - Manual
?
