Hi all. I hope this is the correct form to ask this type of question.
I am looking to see if anyone has made an excel proficiency test that is freely available.

I am less interested in "short-cut" memorization, and more interested in testing knowledge of functions and also troubleshooting.

Thanks guys! :)

Thank you hiker, but let me rephrase the request...

Since I haven't found anything by google search to my satisfaction, I am calling on the experience of this group to aid in my search. Does anyone here have any experience with any specific tests that you have used that you would like to discuss?
I'm looking for something that would be an "in excel" experience where they go through scenarios and utilize functions to answer questions/ etc.

The problem is, that is such a broad question, and Excel is so vast. A lot of it really depends on what you intend to use Excel for.
For example, I have programmed in Excel for almost 20 years and know a lot of formulas and VBA, etc, but hardly ever use Pivot Tables or Charts, because my business needs don't call for it.
So an Excel proficiency test may look very different for someone working in the banking industry that someone working in the statistical realm (i.e. interpretting data from experiments, surveys, etc).
