Use Excel formulas in VBA for PPT

Hi all,
I just started using VBA in PPT and one of my greatest frustrations is that I cannot use the Excel function in visual basic for PPT. For instance, something as simple as "Application.Max(v1,v2,v3)" is not available in PPT... or is it?

Does anyone know how to use Excel formulas in VBA for PPT?

The only way you can do that is to actually run Excel from your VBA code.
