Hi,

I used to receive files on a weekly basis.

Once they are uploaded in to access, I want the uploaded excel files to be moved to other folder. Say for eg: from folder "Received" to "Uploaded".

I already wrote a Access VBA to upload the file after doing some validation.

Is there any way we can do this move also?

I feel this has to be done with the help of API. As I am a beginner in Access VBA, I feel to do this in an easier way if any exists.

Can any body give me a hint on this?

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
In Access VBA, you can use commands like "FileCopy" to copy a file from one location to another, and "Kill" to delete files. The format of each is as follows:

FileCopy From_File_Path_And_Name, To_FilePath_And_Name

Kill File_Path_And_Name

Use Name if you just want to move the file(s).
