hi all,
i create Web Database type in Access 2010
in "Event Table" there is field called StartTime and EndTime which both of them set as Date/Time
now here is the issue!!!!!!!!

i found that there is only two option in Format : "general Date and Short Date"
is there a way to set the two fields in Short time format ????

or i just live with that -.-

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Hey, Welcome to the board!

Once you have set the Field Data Type to Date/Time...

Go to Field Properties > Format > Change it accordingly

If you need a legitimate time stamp this may help. I found this useful last week when I was researching a similar topic:

thanks for replaying

mrmmickle1 : i think there is some Limitations in Web database Tables, as Dates are limited to just two formatting options: General or Short. i can’t create a custom date format, and i can’t use a field to store a time value. i don't know why !!

strive4peace : yes! i can format the form to medium time but in table still record the date (1/1/1990 always there)...

too bad it won't allow the record time only ... i just found that Dates are limited to just two formatting options: General or Short. You can’t create a custom date format, and you can’t use a field to store a time value, because SharePoint doesn’t allow zero-value dates. You also can’t use date values that fall before January 1, 1900.

in a web database, it is true that options are more limited for the table design -- but that is just how things are stored. You can use more formatting options on forms (views) and when you report your data ~
