Hi there,

I purchased Linkhacker and I am trying to get it to work. I have installed on Excel 2010, and every link I try to change generates an error:

"Error 1004. Method '~' of object '~' failed"

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Steve

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
dosen't seem to be a excel issue, and i can't find a reference to the programme, but would suggest it is a discussion with the suppliers

This program is a MrExcel product.
MrExcel Link Hacker Add-In

I have emailed the site (and just did for a second time) but have not heard back. Support for this product is very lacking.

I purchased this product to give me a way to change the location of a file, as it is listed in a formula (and I have thousands of files to update).

So I really need a way to get this to work.

And advice greatly appreciated.

that explains it in part, i was looking for a single conjoined word

The link that you gave, displays what appears to be the Excel 2003 version?
There appears to be another page for an Excel 2007 version.
Perhaps they do not work with Excel 2010?
You may need to continue trying to get a response from the support site.

I have emailed them twice, no response. It has been over a week!!

Does anyone have a contact email for the Mr. Excel team?

I'm sorry I ever bought it.
