hi guys. i have 4 tabs of data sources in my PowerPivot. Basically:
TabsField1Field2Field3
Table1DateActual AmtCompany
Table2CoManager
Table3DateManagerBudget amt
Table4Date

in my final outcome, i want to show the Date of Table1 in Row Labels, Actual Amt and Budget Amt in the Values and the Manager in the Slicer. the relationships i did is as follows:
Table1 Co -> Table2 Co
Table1 Date -> Table4 Date
Table3 Date -> Table4Date

The thing now is that if i put Table2 Manager in the slicer, it changes only the Actual Amt. If i put Table2 Manager in the slicer, it only changes the Budget Amt. how do i make it so that both changes? i

Just a quick thought without testing, have you tried redefining your relationships?

If you slice Table 2 Manager in the current situation you will get all table 1 information for that particular manager and related companies. If i interpret your data correctly this can include several dates.
However since the relation between 1 & 3 is based on date it will show the budget amt from table 3 based on the dates found in table 1, not on manager.

Maybe this relationship will work

table 1 > table 2: CO
table 2 > table 3: Manager

Note that if your relationship between 1 & 3 Date based is on date, that the information in table 2 is redundant.

Regards,

Dirk
