I trying to convert the following formula (I, II, III) and add criteria of Name and Date to the count values of “c”

CURRENT FORMULA

I: “=COUNTIF(C2:C3100,"<=6")” versley (B) and today to last 7 days (A)
II: “=COUNTA(C2:C3100)” versley (B) and today to last 7 days (A)
III: “=AVERAGE(C2:C3100)” versley (B) and today to last 7 days (A)

Additional criteria

Date (A ): (A2:A3100<=TODAY())*(CA:A3100>=TODAY()-7))
Name (B): B2:B3100="vensley"
Count (C): Less than conditions

Sorry if I was not clear enough and appreciate any help

Thank you,
Wm…

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Sorry my friend but indeed the question is not very clear (atleast to me). But I can assure you that the answer will surely be either in SUMPRODUCT or INDEX + MATCH, depending on what exactly you want.

Can you please write down in plain words what is the output you are expecting and based on how many and what criteria.

Sachin Acharya,

I hope I can add some insight. I have the same data set with 3 separate independent formulas:
COUNTIF which looks at data less than criteria, Counta which counts number of occurrences and lastly the average which averages data in column C . Each one of these formulas I need to add criteria of name and last 7 days.
I: “=COUNTIF(C2:C3100,"<=6")” versley (B) and today to last 7 days (A)
II: “=COUNTA(C2:C3100)” versley (B) and today to last 7 days (A)
III: “=AVERAGE(C2:C3100)” versley (B) and today to last 7 days (A)

So I tried something with the following. <o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
“=COUNTIF((C2:C3100,"<=6"),--(a2:a3100<=TODAY())*(a2:a3100>=TODAY()-7),--(b2:b3100=”versley”))<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
“=COUNTA(C2:C3100), ,--(a2:a3100<=TODAY())*(a2:a3100>=TODAY()-7),--(b2:b3100=”versley”))<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
“=AVERAGE(C2:C3100) ,--(a2:a3100<=TODAY())*(a2:a3100>=TODAY()-7),--(b2:b3100=”versley”))<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
I have used the SUMPRODUCT in the past just not sure how to use it with the above and never used INDEX + MATCH nor am I clear on when I should use them.
<o:p>
</o:p>
Again, I hope I clear up sum hehe some.

<o:p> </o:p>

Aladin,

I tried and rec zero as an answer. EF suggested that I check the less than equal signs and believe they are correct. I looking to see how do I attached a spreadsheet. If I can figure out how one will follow.

=SUM(IF(NPS!$B$2:$B$3100=F2,IF(NPS!$A$2:$A$3100>=F1,IF(NPS!$A$2:$A$3100<=F1-7,IF(NPS!$C$2:$C$3100<=F4,1)))))
=SUM(IF(NPS!$B$2:$B$3100=F2,IF(NPS!$A$2:$A$3100>=F1,IF(NPS!$A$2:$A$3100<=F1-7,IF(NPS!$C$2:$C$3100<=F3,1)))))
=SUM(IF(NPS!$B$2:$B$3100=F2,IF(NPS!$A$2:$A$3100>=F1,IF(NPS!$A$2:$A$3100<=F1-7,1))))
=AVERAGE(IF(NPS!$B$2:$B$3100=F2,IF(NPS!$A$2:$A$3100>=F1,IF(NPS!$A$2:$A$3100<=F1-7,NPS!$C$2:$C$3100))))

Thank you

The best way is to post a small sample as you did in your initial post along with the desired results.

Thank you for the insight and you save me time by not having to look. Any ideas on my formula. Did I make an error?

You can compare youself the formulas I forwarded with the ones as you adapted them. The best thing is to check out the original formulas with suitable data.
