sorting data in groups at pivot table

Hi,

I have a table of gender, frequency and income like this

where the frequency is the number of times they go to fastfood shops per week. There are 150 data in the table. I need to summarize the data in a pivot table according to gender and income group. I thought of something like this

I don't know much about pivot table please help.
 

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Sort by date Sort by votes
if your using excel 2007 and above

select anywehre in the data , go insert tab, choose pivot table , press ok.
now drag the gender to column labels and income to row lables
select any cells in the pivot table (left column ), go to desing tab choose group selection .

now the starting date type 40, in the ending date type 59 and in the by: type 20.

now the the pivor field list, choose waht you want and drag it to the sum value field
