Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Sub myFile()
fname = Application.GetOpenFilename

If fname <> False Then
Workbooks.Open fname
Else

MsgBox "No Workbook is open!"
End If
End Sub

Public Sub ShowFileOpen()
'Open the File Open dialog.

Application.Dialogs(xlDialogOpen).Show
End Sub

Public Sub ShowFindFile()
'Open the FindFile dialog.

Application.Dialogs(xlDialogFindFile).Show
End Sub
