Hello people,

I'm trying to find a simple code for a macro that can change the 'backcolor' of a command button.

Many thanks if you help me with this!

Greetings from Mirtje

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Code:
With CommandButton1
    .BackColor = vbRed
End With

You can, of course, specify other colours or use the colorindex property.

Ah, I thought you were running the macro by clicking on the button! Always dangerous to assume things eh?

Try this

Code:
Dim cmdBtn as CommandButton

Set cmdBtn = Sheets("Sheet1").CommandButton1

With cmdBtn
    .BackColor = vbRed
End With
