in column A is first and last name. I want a formula that will add first letter of first name to last name and then add the @company.com to the end in column B.
John Jones = jjones@company.com

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Give this a go:

Excel Workbook
AB
1Jane Jonesjjones@company.com
Sheet1
Excel 2003
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
B1=LOWER(LEFT(A1,1)&RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND(" ",A1))&"@company.com")
