Hi there,
I'm looking to generate a chart out of a table of data.
I want the Y-axis to show a percentage return on an investment.
On the x-axis I want to have a range of scenarios from a market average return of -40% to +40%. Obviously, I wish for 0% to sit in the middle of the x-axis.
I'd want to have 3 lines observable in the chart.
I'd be looking to build the above out of a table almost exactly like this:

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 232pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=309><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 73pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3547" width=97><COL style="WIDTH: 41pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 2011" width=55><COL style="WIDTH: 56pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 2742" width=75><COL style="WIDTH: 62pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 2998" width=82><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 15.75pt" height=21><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 1pt solid; Does anyone have any advice as to how I would go about generating this?
Any advice gratefully received.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Yes it is, but one done by accident. My Internet connection at home is crap and I only realised I had been duplicating after I'd submitted about 4 times. I thought they weren't being processed.

Here are the steps that I used to get what I think you are looking for.

1. Select the entire table and insert a line chart
2. Select the Market Return line and plot on a secondary axis
3. Format the secondary axis so that the max is something like 100,000 and the min is -100,000
4. Format secondary axis font color to white, and make the font as small as possible
5. Add data labels to the Market Return line, and format them to be below
6. Format Market Return line to have no line or markers
7. Select the original x-axis (should be just defaulted from 1-9) and delete
8. Select the Market Return in the legend and delete

Hope that helps.
