Secondary X-axis

I appreciate this forum and all readers' time. I would like to add a secondary x-axis to charted data, i.e., pressure vs. inches & cm. (I think this means I will need to 'align' or super-impose two data sets, but I don't know the best way to do this). Thank you.

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

You need at least two series to enable secondary axes in a chart, one for each axis. I would add a dummy series, either the same as the first, or just any old point. Now just format your axis so it's got the proper proportionality. in & cm is easy since both pass through 0. °F and °C are more difficult.

If you have a tough one, you can make a secondary axis out of a dummy series, as I show in my Tertiary Axis and Arbitrary Axis examples:

Stewart politely reminded me that the topic of his post was secondary X axis, and I just helped him with the Y axis, which is the one that Excel sticks there by default when you choose Secondary in the Series Format dialog.

Once you have at least one series assigned to the secondary axes, you can right click on the chart, choose Chart Options from the pop-up menu, and click on the Axes tab. From here you can select and deselect any combination of primary and secondary, category and value axes. Here you can also change the type of category axis in a Line, Column, Area, or Bar chart among time-scale and category.

Stewart, sorry I misread the quest
