Hi,

I have searched around but can't really find an answer I can get my head around. I am running 32 bit office and have several spreadsheets where the data is populated from a microsoft query. Issue is all my other users are now running 64bit office and the refresh fails. what is the best way around this as I am reluctant to go down the 64 bit route on my PC.

Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Welcome to the forum.

What are you querying exactly? Also, can you use Power Query rather than MS Query?

There shouldn't be an issue querying text files - what driver did you use when you set up the query?

This is the connection string

DSN=Text Files;DefaultDir=C:\TEMP;DriverId=27;FIL=text;MaxBufferSize=2048;PageTimeout=5;

How is the DSN set up? I think you'll need to edit it to use the Microsoft Access Text driver.
