Hi,

I have a spreadsheet with the top two rows frozen.

I have a average function on the top row: =AVERAGE(C$3:C$12) The idea is to return the average of the top ten rows below the frozen rows.

I want to insert a row with more data and then have the average of what is now the top ten rows.

When I insert a row with more data, the formula now becomes : =AVERAGE(C$4:C$13)

Is there a way to insert the row and not change the range on the function?

Thanks in advance!!
