Hello,

We are having too many discrepancies with our point keeping system.

I am looking for the best way to track employee points.

Our point rules are:

.5 points if late
1 point if absent

I will enter the points on the spreadsheet.

10 points is termination. We have a formula that is calculating:

Tardy -
Absent -
Early out -
Drop Drop -

every 56 days the employee has a point to drop off providing they do not receive any points in that 56 day period. (this is day for day)
after 1 year of date they also drop 1 point.

The spreadsheet we are using is garbage. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
I've worked under a system like that. It's not just the spreadsheet that's garbage - it's an awful system that makes good employees neurotic and encourages people to drive recklessly if anything delays them.

It's much easier to calculate if every incident has a 56 day time on it, rather than resetting them every time they get another incident. FYI.
