Hello,

If I have 0 in A1, and 100 in A2, can I get cell B1 to show me 0 to 100, or 0-100? If so how?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Use this formula in cell B1:
Excel Formula:
=A1 & " to " & A2
or
Excel Formula:
=A1 & "-" & A2

Solution

or
Excel Formula:

Thank you so very much, I figured it was something simple but If you don't know the right things to ask the program the logic in the help doesn't make much sense.

Thanks again!

One more thing, Is there anyway to write that in as a Dollar range? Formatting won't adjust the value to currency or accounting because its not returning a typical number. so B1 should actually read $0-$100

Since the value being returned is a string, you cannot applied formatting to it. Formatting only works on numeric fields (dates included).

But just keep concatenating on the text pieces you want (the "$"), i.e.
Excel Formula:
="$" & A1 & "-$" & A2
or you could incorporate the use of the TEXT function.
