Can a text box refer to a cell - somewhere within the box, can I include a string that is taken from a cell value - without a macro?

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Yes ?? BUT then only 1 cell value

Select your Textbox > then in formulabar type in = and select your cell.

If you need you textbox to reference certain Text then you need to build the Cell that you referenced via the Textbox, with the text string......

After creating a text box, if you put the desired cell reference as a formula in the formula bar (ex. =A1) the cell contents will appear in the text box.
