I have columns A6 - F6. Column A6-A56 contains the days date. I want the cell color to change to yellow after each day passes. For example on 9/26 I want all the cell colors for 9/25 to change colors. I retired and don't use excel much and have forgotten a lot. Your help is appreciated.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
You could create a conditional formatting rule like this:

Select the range A6:A56 and click on Conditional Formatting > New Rule
Pick "Use a formula..." and type in the following:
=A6<TODAY()<today()

Click the "Format", click "Fill" tab and pick your fill color.
Click "OK".</today()
