Chart Axis Formatting

I have the following data:

5/22/14100
5/31/14105
6/30/14110
7/31/14120

<colgroup><col><col></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

But want the axis to show:
5/22/14100
5/14105
6/14110
7/14120

<colgroup><col><col></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

That is, no "days" except for the first data point.
I have formatted the labels correctly in the data table but cannot get this to push into the chart.
