Charting - Bell Curve

Hello,

Simple request, but having a difficult time trying to figure it out. I have a simple list of data, age of members with labels and would like to chart a normal distribution curve.

Hi Hayesk

I plotted a normal dist curve on some data points myself. This is what I did:
1. group the data points into buckets, eg. age 10-15, age 16-20, etc.. count the no. of data points in each bucket.
2. calculate the mean using AVERAGE() and std dev using STDEV().
3. calculate the norm dist of each bucket using NORMDIST()..
4. i will setup a table with columns for age bucket, no. of data points for the corresponding age bucket, and NORMDIST(age, mean, stdev, FALSE).
5. then i will plot using these 3 columns..

you can see whether your data sample fits a norm dist curve..
