Combine sumproduct with IF

Formula currently is something like:

Sumproduct(b1:b100,c1:c100) to get the aggregate of (b1*c1)+(b2+c2)+.....etc


How can I add a condition to only perform include in formula if D = something.

So needing a simplified version of the following longhand formula:

if(D1 = a35,b1*c1,0)+if(D2=a35,b2*c2,0)+...etc...all the way through the end of the range. say row 100.

Any ideas?

@Bob...Jonmo addressed the syntax. It just didn't make sense to have a comma before the M3. But I see now that you were not the person who started this thread. Were you even asking a question? Or trying to solve the original question? If you had a question, is it solved now?
