Conditional format - don't highlight text

Is it possible to have conditional formatting to exclude text, in this instance highlight values greater than 1.00 and don't highlight text values.

Try this -

Use formula to conditional format

=And(A1>1,Isnumber(A1))

It shall highlight only numbers and no TEXT

Another simple formula option that you could use in Conditional Formatting would be

=--A1>1
