Conditional format - don't highlight text

Is it possible to have conditional formatting to exclude text, in this instance highlight values greater than 1.00 and don't highlight text values.

Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Try this -

Use formula to conditional format

Excel Formula:
=And(A1>1,Isnumber(A1))

It shall highlight only numbers and no TEXT
