1. Count # of Cities under Col E2 (I know it's 7), but need formula
2. Count # of States under col F2 (from col A range)
3. under col E3 = city that occurs max no. of times under col B
4. under col F3 = total value from col C of the city that occurs max under col B

One thing to note is that the formula in Post #9 F5 will fail if your dynamicly set ranges are not equal lengths. I like to use the column that will most likely have the most data as the start point then use teh offset function using the previously define dynmaic range as the start point range. for example for set the cities range: =Offset(State_Rng,,3,1) [from help file: OFFSET(reference,rows,cols,height,width)].

Just keep in mind this issue has got me in trouble before.
