I am using Excel 2016. I have a sheet that contains a Table. It includes three columns that use Data Validation. When I add a new Table Row Below, the new row has the data validation dropdown arrows (when you activate the cell one of the validated columns). When I sort (using a filter) the dropdown arrows disappear.
I have tried the repair Open and Repair... functionality. The message displayed at the end of the repair job is, "Excel completed file level validation and repair. Some parts of this workbook may have been repaired or discarded.".
If I the save the file and reopen it, the validation dropdown arrows appear. If I resort the data, the arrows disappear again.

Does anyone know if I can do anything about this? Or is it a known bug?

EDIT:
Actually I am using 365.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
