I recently reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled my software. Now I don't seem to have the Date and Time Picker Control (among others) that I used to.

I did a thourough install of Microsoft Office 2000 Professional, and switched from Windows 98SE to Windows 2000 Professional. Isn't that control standard in such an installation? If its not, where can I get it?

I ran into a very similar issue and wanted to share what I did based off of Jim's solution - in the same shared folder as the excel file create a batch file in notepad, have the user run the batch file

regsvr32 MSCOMCT2.OCX
start /MAX time.xls
/end

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
I'm using the Date and Time Picker Control (MS 2010) and would like to have the date blank and not defaulted until a date is selected. Would this be possible?

Thanks.
