Dear All,

I have a very large sheet with 250 columns. However some of these columns are empty. I need a script which can delete all empty columns. Can any one help?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Code:
Sub DeleteEmptyCols()
    Dim LastCol As Long, i As Long
    LastCol = ActiveSheet.UsedRange.Columns(ActiveSheet.UsedRange.Columns.Count).Column
    For i = LastCol To 1 Step -1
        If WorksheetFunction.CountA(Columns(i)) = 0 Then
            Columns(i).EntireColumn.Delete
        End If
    Next i
End Sub
