1st timer here, great forum.
I've come so close to figuring this out, but the nature of the URL's I'm visiting is making it tough.
I have a list of about 400 profile names. The profiles public information is avaible by visiting a page like www.example.com/profile=XXXXX, where XXXXX is the profile name.
I'd like to automate the process of visiting each of these pages, and importing the table data into excel (table number 136 on each page).
Bonus: I need to consolidate all of these tables. The original will be something like this:
Company name: Bob Co
City: New York
Website: bobco
And I need to eventually have the information from all 400 tables consolidated into a more traditional spreadsheet format (with company name, city, website each being their own columns).
Any help would be excellent. The closest I've come to success is having excel prompt me with a dialogue box with the profile name, and then it automatically creates a new worksheet with the correct table. If I can automate this process so it rips through the whole list of usernames (and consolidates the tables) that would be a huge help.
