Hi, This is quite tricky. I have been asked to download data from the internet using a macro. Unfortunately it is not simple atleast for me. Here is the task I have been given.
1. Go to http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/companies/
2. Click Chemicals and go to
Agricultural Chemicals
Chemicals-Diversified
Chemicals-Fibers
Chemicals-Other
Chemicals-Plastics
Chemicals-Specialty
Coatings/Paint
Industrial Gases
Petrochemicals
Rubber&Vinyl
in order.
3. 1st go to Agricultural Chemicals.Click on the 1st company which is Abou Kir Fertilizers & Chemical Industries and then Copy all the data and paste them onto separate columns as variables. This includes the Snapshot
News & Press Releases
Key Statistics
Financials
Income Statement
Balance Sheet
Cash Flow
Company Profile
& Executives.
So now we have the company name with all the data values in the form of a column.
4. Once that is done the macro should go to the second company and paste the values.
5. Once all the companies data is extracted it should go to the next Sector and copy and paste the data. This is one of the biggest challenges which I have faced as yet and any help would be greatly appreciated.
