Drop down arrow for Validation Lists covered by text field on MAC

I have an excel spreadsheet with validiation box fields to enter in stock specials quickly.

Problem is on MAC not PC. On PC the drop down arrows are perfect aligned. ON mac the drop down arrows are covered by the text field when you click in it to type the search text. So then clicking on the drop down arrow is a bit of a pain.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this issue?
