Hello,

I am currently trying to create a graph that allows me to plot a range of quartiles and then highlight individual salaries and where they sit against those quartiles.

Here is an example of the table that i have:

Job TypeSalaryLQMedUQ
Head320000225000260000315000
Manager164000110000145000165000
Deputy128000100000120000130000
Jnr9500085000110000
125000

<colgroup><col><col span="4"></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>
The way that i would like to show it is by using an area graph for the quartiles and then a line graph to plot the individual salaries across it so it is clear in what quartile they sit. However, when i do this the area graph does not seem to plot itself correctly against the values in the table- for example, for the 'Head' row, the UQ starts at 500,000 instead of 315,000.

ANy help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
Emily
