Excel/PPT Help!

Gurus, I need heeeeelp!!!!

I have a pivotchart in PPT that i copied from excel, and what i would like to do is add a macro button in PPT that make certain changes to the chart. I've tried inserting a macro in PPT, but i don't know how to link it to the excel sheet, i need heeeeelp!

If you're using office 2007, when you paste the graph it should be automatically linked. To see the changes happening you need to have excel and ppt open simultaneously.
