Hello,
Here I am again...stuck at the dates.

Ok, our company first week of this year starts from Monday 12/30/2019; other words, our first quarter starts from 12/30/2019. However, on my pivot table when I group the dates, Excel group 12/30/2019 as 4th quarter. ?
Is there anything I can do to tell Excel "Hey, that's our first quarter, we start on 12/30/2019?

Thank you for your help.

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
If 30/12/2019 is your first Quarter, is 30/03 your second quarter Starting , 30/06 your third quarter Starting Date and 30/09 your fourth???

Ok, for example. In 2020, our first week start from December 30, 2019. I'm doing the weekly report. If that's our first day of the year, we should treat this date as first quarter, don't you think?

Thanks for your reply.

Hi Ypurcaro,

It sounds like your Company may be using the ISO weeks to decide their calendar. Try using ISOWEEKNUM() in your data to differentiate.

I'm not sure as I've never hear of ISO week function. :) But, I'll definitely give it a try and see if it works. Thanks for your help.
