Hello!

I have a chart that shows daily sales on an X axis that spans $0 to $200,000. I'd like the chart to show a line that runs parallel to the Y axis at $75,000, break-even sales volume.

Is there a way to place a fixed/reference/benchmark line on a chart? My objective is to call attention to the fact that any daily sales below a certain value need to be investigated.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Do you mean perpindicular to the Y Axis? Parallel to the Y Axis would cross all the values ?

If you want perpindicular to Y (or parallel to X), just create another series with a value of $75,000 at every date. You can label the series "Threshold".

Solution
You rock, awoohaw! That solution will work!

And, yes, I mean perpendicular to the Y axis, parallel to the X axis.

Thanks!
