Dear All,

Working with a workbook carrying multiple sheets for FY 14-15. Sheet names are April-14, May-14 contd......

In the Enquery sheet I have few columns like the snap:

sheet1.jpg

I have mentioned desired results in the cells. But if I change the date & month it should automatically calculate. I mean if i mention 01-May data would be auto calculated from may sheet only.

Is it possible using a formula. if possible, please provide me.

thanks in advance.

Regards
RAMU

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
After getting your reply, I was going thru help of excel. There detail of Indirect function was only for few lines. But reference was not clear to me. I just took a small instance but was confused how would i proceed. And was not getting result from that example.

Images are not that helpful... Hard to read/inspect and nothing can be done with in Excel.

What is your formula just for April-14 if you have or set up one?

Dear Mr. aladin,

I don't have any idea whether it can be possible or not in excel. I did not have any formula for any sheet. In April-14 sheet there are few basic formulas but for enquery sheet I couldn't. My sheets are just alike:

For enquery sheet my desired results are mentioned below:

I thought that it may be possible but was not sure. In case of "INDIRECT" function I am little newbie.

Thanks. It's hard to interpret "Enquery", showing a two part exhibit. Would you also precise the actual result you expect?
