Thank you in advance for your time. I am relatively inexperienced with excel and am unsure whether what I am trying to achieve is possible. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

I want a formula that will display a number from 1 through 6 dependant on the value entered into the adjacent cell. Example:

If value of A1 is less than or equal to 42 = display "1" in B1
If value of A1 is greater than 42.01 but less than or equal to 53.6 = display "2" in B1
If value of A1 is greater than 53.6 but less than or equal to 65.2 = display "3" in B1
etc. etc.

Is it possible to put all of the conditions (sorry if incorrect terminology) into the one formula?

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
