Help on getting cell background color to gradually change as it gets closer to the expire date

basically

1. Cell C25 looks at the current date

2. Cell C25 only shows the expire date

3. Cell C25 gradually changes background color from like:
light green to plenty of days left
light yellow days are about 1/2 gone
light red days are expired.

thanks for the help on this

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
light green to plenty of days left
light yellow days are about 1/2 gone
light red days are expired.
Rules for conditional formatting - Use in this order only

light red days are expired
=C25<Today()

light yellow days are about 1/2 gone (Can't set rule for 1/2 - Lets say 10 days)
=C25+10>today()

light green to plenty of days left
=C25>Today()
