=sumif(A2:A100,"="&,C2,B2:B100)
it used to sum all the values for date mentioned in C2.

B2:B100 = values for each date
C2 = manually entered date and formula cell returned sum of all values in that date.

It looks like you used different columns for you new question. I will assume the columns you specified in Message #9 (Columns A and C). Given that, put this array-entered** formula in cell D2 and copy it down...
