How to Capture multiple Keywords in a text string using Excel Formula

Hi guys, Hope you can help me..I want to make a formula in excel wherein you will extract a certain keyword or text in a text string.. if multiple keywords is present in a text string it should be captured as well seperated by a comma.

List of keywords is in cell A2 to A26 and text strings are in B2 to b500.. Found keywords would be place in cell c2 to c500 . if no keyword or text is found, (-) should appear in C cell. Im current using a formula in extracting 1 keyword in a string which has been taught by experts here in mr excel.. kindly check my previous thread :How to capture text in a text string using excel formula - you can see the formula there.

Your a genius njimack ;););).. just one last tweak can you put the keyword1, keyword2 3, 4 etc.... in sheet2 instead. I just want the text string to be in column A of sheet1... All info are still in Sheet 1 except for the keyword. I'm so happy bout this code.. thanks for everything;)

So keyword1, keyword 2, etc are on sheet 2, everything else on sheet 1? And you want the results returned on Sheet1 as well?

yup absolutely that is correct;). Keyword(s) column would be place in sheet2.Is it possible to make the keyword(s) column name not sensitive or dynamic on the macro so that i can name it anything I want? i just notice this when I change the name of the keywords header at the start of the macro, the macro runs without any changes because it is define as "keyword*" in the code.

Brief example, before I start running the macro,I named keyword1 as Address, keyword2 as Street and so on . I want to define the name on the keywords not just keyword1, keyword2,keyword3..etc.

Right, here goes. I've made the code flexible enough that if you change the sheet names or your text string isn't in column A, you only have to change a small portion of the code...

However I do have a questions

The Usage "=Keywords($A$2:$A$26,B2)" only searches data in one cell (B2). It is possible to search multiple cells i.e "=Keywords($A$2:$A$26,B2:B10). I tried this but get a #VALUE error.

Also I use a separate sheet for my keyword database but all the keywords are in column A, however if I use the usage "=Keywords(Keywords!A:A,B2)" my spreadsheet crashes. I'm using Excel 2010.

Just figured out this could actually help me with something else I am working on.
