Hi,

I have included a pic of a graph I have. I find the jump from $48.2 to $54.4 is not as emphasized as much I would hope between the two data points, I would have expected in terms of height the $54.4 point to be taller which makes the jump from one year to the next seem more emphatic in the chart.
Is there anything I can do with either the axis or data point to make the jump in height of points appear bigger?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
You don't have a pic attached. Although xl2bb add in doesn't copy chart images posting the data of your chart would be helpful.

But, a short answer to your question would be to make your y axis range smaller. But this is dependent on what kind of baseline standard your data has.
If your data spans 10 to 90, then a 6.2 jump only represents about 8% of the axis size and you can't do much about that
