I am using Excel '97 and have a number of unlocked cells on a protected sheet. Users can enter data into the cells, but they want to be able to add a comment box to the cell.

This option is greyed out, when the sheet is protected. Is there any way round this??

Thanks...

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
In other versions, if you protect the sheet, but uncheck the objects box, this will allow for comments to be inserted.
